LUZ 2020
On All Saints Day, 2020, beneath the DUMBO Archway - and with a strict 50 person limit - was birthed LUZ: A Public Altar for Mourning and Manifestation.
Arriving in the tense days leaving up to the US presidential election, and in the midst of a global pandemic, LUZ was created to bring joy to the spirits of the musicians, artists and dancers present to help us keep shining for ourselves and our ancestors in even the darkest of times.
This event was produced with the trust and support of the DUMBO Improvement District.
